A Monastrell from Jumilla which I always enjoy. 18 months in oak. Very hot and dry aromas in the nose, sour red fruits, Black Forest berries, handful of nuts, jam. Very nice acidity and tannins, could still wait couple of years and age beautifully — 8 years ago

$5.69 at Costco and awesome! Dry and woody but still smooth in the finish. Deep flavor. I liked! — 13 years ago
Really enjoying this wine. Very drinkable. Don’t know anything about Monastrell but would definitely drink more. For a $15 wine, this is great QPR! Drink this all day! — 7 years ago
Fruit forward--cherries and red plum, faint spicines or note of cacao. Silky palate, long finish.
Bloody marvelous for $11 a bottle here in Washington, D.C. — 7 years ago
Smoked eucalyptus and gamey.
Blackberry, dark plum, tha basil, eucalyptus. mint, anise, layer upon layers of gorgeous fruit, with herbs dancing with great pagan mystery, underneath those waves.
This is one of those wines that hits every bit of what you want a more expensive bottle to be.
Priced to buy by the case as a every nighter.

Mums! Druvigt, äpple, friskt. Lite ananas kanske. Lite dammigt och trevligt i flabben. — 8 years ago
Delicious medium to fully bodied rosat sparkler with earthy notes from Boutique Cava producer, this one is surely intense and more food wine than aperitif, hand turned and disgorged after 36 months on the lees, delectable info is misleading as this is 70% monastrell, 20% Pinot, and 10% garnaba. Don't compare Cava to champagne, it's Catalayun native varietals that bring their own skill sets to the table. — 9 years ago
Very very potent wine. Deep red, nice fruit, and lingering spicy tannins. — 9 years ago
