Nice full body. Cherries. Plums. Chocolate. — 9 years ago
Excellent wine. Very smooth but would hope for a bigger body but still very good. — 10 years ago
Complex and opens into a spectacular wine with richness across fruit balance and depth of body including a tannic edge. Wish I had a few more in the cellar. — 10 years ago
Yuko bought this at Costco for about $16. Appearance is clear, medium intensity, purple color, clear rim to medium core. Nose is clean, medium intensity, developing, with aromas of blackberries, pepper, and vanilla. Palate is dry, medium acidity, tannins and alcohol; medium body & flavor intensity; flavors of blackberry, black cherry, vanilla and pepper; very well-balanced with a firm tannic texture and a medium finish. Quality is good; can drink now but has potential for aging until 2016. I like it! A very nice wine that punches a few pound above its weight. Great with beef filet with bacon (but then what isn't?), and dishes that incorporate umami flavors. — 13 years ago
2016. Red and black fruit with firm tannins. More of a traditionalist style but very approachable now. Rich. A lot of body without being heavy. — 5 years ago
Visiting again this splendid Paulliac from the 2011 vintage. 2011 vintage was labeled as mediocre in Bordeaux and this lovely wine showed that it is actually a classic vintage with some great wines, so trust the chateau not only the vintage. The nose is tempting with notes if coffee, earth, oak, cassis, black fruits and hints of chocolate, the body is full with round tannins, acidity is splendid and finish is long. My score 92, drink to 2026, perhaps longer — 6 years ago
Worth letting age. It gets better as you drink it. This is a full body wine, great fruit, coffee and chocolate flavors. — 7 years ago
The nose alluring and complex but restrained; the medium body palate layered, broad, and textured; the tannins velvety yet gripping; and the finish long and persistent. Very classy and elegant. Paid $80 for this 08 vintage. It’s hard for me to imagine how much better the 09 or 10 vintage (cost significantly more) can be. — 7 years ago
Can't remember how similar this is vs the 2013 vintage. Very good, smooth, med body cab — 9 years ago
Clear, deep ruby with purple hue. Clean nose, medium intensity, showing ripe black fruits, chocolate, english cake, liquorice, black pepper. Dry. Medium body, full tannins, medium acidity, flavours of ripe black fruits, chocolate, english cake, liquorice, black pepper. Medium finish. Excellent. — 10 years ago
Great value, medium-full body, berries but not sweet, smoke and wood, and it's dry, very good value. Enjoying it as I write this — 10 years ago
Nice body. Great wine. — 12 years ago
Dark Pinot, med to heavy body, slightly smokey, smooth, I like it. $18 — 13 years ago
😲 full body cab— absolutely amazing. Shane picked it out. Yum. — 6 years ago
Really nice. 1970 vintage. Light oak on nose. Thin body. Some tart cherry notes. — 6 years ago
My mind was blown!! As close as your getting to get to first growth at an insane price! PnP and reminded me of Haut Brion. Dusty, earthy, and smokey with some tar. Velvet on the palate with an insanely long finish. I’m speechless and in somewhat disbelief!! — 7 years ago
Top year 904 @ £75 that was drank in Zalto burg glass as its like an aged burgundy
🐽 Paired w/ Iberian Ham 😍
🍷 Garnet ruby w/ brick
👃 Smoked burnt oak, soggy earthy leaves, leather, dark cherry & figs w/ balsamic & damson
👄 Med body of creamy stewed cherry w/ earthy balsamic & slight mocha
🎯 Med finish of above w/ earthy balsamic linger
Reaching peak but I preferred the 95 904 over this but the 890 94 was better than the 95! — 8 years ago

Mocha coffee anise full body — 10 years ago
2011. A freight train, there's no other description. The nose is a bright, earthy, big fruit, cassis, cedar, wet leaves. Body is still tight, tannic, but the fruit is clearly discernable. The finish drags on and on, Still young, but already fantastic. In 10 years, it will be a masterpiece. Cellar it for at least 5 years. — 10 years ago
Very good. Medium body with spices and pepper. I will buy again! — 10 years ago
Full body. Great drinking. — 12 years ago
