Delicious red from the son of Peter Lehman. — 9 years ago
Smooth encroaching Zin. Old school. The balance hides the 15% abv. Woodsy spice and cola and Dr Pepper. Moderate tannin. Very much enjoyed this. — 9 years ago

Another Mike Smith Cab- very good value for 65.00 — 12 years ago
6-hour decant. Deep purple color. Blackberry and raspberry cobbler, graphite, cassis, cocoa powder. Round tannins even at this early age. A finish that goes on forever. One of the best cabernets I've ever had. Well done, @Mike Smith. — 9 years ago

Mike Smith has done it yet again with this 2014 big bold Napa Cab. Myriad - Dr. Crane, continues to be one of my favorite Napa Cabs since 2010. Paired to perfection with steaks from Capital Grille, I wish we could spend every Saturday night with this bottle. Unfortunately the 2015 is already sold out. — 9 years ago
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Howell Mountain is one of the most exotic, flamboyant young wines I have ever tasted from Randy and Mike Dunn. Graphite, cherry liqueur, smoke, licorice, plums and crème de cassis, open up in an alluring Cabernet Sauvignon that melds together ripeness and structure... @Ron R @Mike R @David L @Howard Greenfield @Kirk Alexander @Joe Lucca @Carl Fischer @Paul T @Bill Bender @Ted Mandes @Jim Trobaugh @Monica O @Terri Walker @Steve Colanero My amazing friend Steve Colanero is a retired chef. We enjoyed an amazing dinner in his home this evening and opened these 2 beauties. Becklyn Reserve and a private propriety blend called "M" by Ted Mandes.
I opened and reviewed the Becklyn Reserve last night as well. You all know how I felt about it. Extremely solid and I rated accordingly. My opinion hasn't changed. It's an awesome wine. Thanks again David for introducing me to this Beauty!! — 9 years ago

Amazing! A chameleon for a nose. At hour one - black fruit. Hour two - dark chocolate (I was actually shocked by how different it was!). Hour three - a mix. Lovely tannins. Great finish. Extremely well done @Mike Smith ! I'm patiently waiting for the Tuesday release! — 9 years ago
I'm loving this Rosé of Trousseau from @Mike Lucia Salmon color with appealing earthy, red fruit, stone fruit pit and wet gravel aromas. On the palate it's medium bodied, fresh, focused round and persistent with tart strawberry, watermelon, golden raspberry and lemon peel flavors with a lingering finish — 10 years ago
Nett, aber nix extraordinäres. Sehr rund und tief. Kann man bestimmt zwei bis drei Flaschen hintereinandertrinken.

May have posted before, but it's just so good. Really enjoyed our tasting with @Mike Smith a few months ago, and this was a big hit. My father-in-law forgot he had tasted it before and said "this is an amazing $100 cab". Told him it was <$75...much joy ensued (and dollars prepped to leave the wallet). Ripe fruit on the nose...mix of red, blue and black fruit. Little cedar too. Though young, it doesn't taste super young. Already nicely integrated. Medium weight on the palate. Vanilla and toasted almonds in the finish. — 9 years ago
