Very nice! Slightly crisp, but rich, with noticeable botrytis. — 8 months ago
Drinking the 2016 in 2024. Deep rich color. Very nice legs. Earthy with leather notes bouquet. Very easy drinking. Deep ripe fruit with a slightly sweet finish. Low tannins. — 9 months ago
Nice luscious balanced deep fruit with enough tang. — 2 years ago
Strong sharp almost acrylic smell followed by rich fruity aroma, plumb - oak - layered rich and thick. Later on almost like expensive tea with a complex and fragrant bouquet .
Taste is sharp at first with stringent dry tannic. Powerful and strong. Followed by fruit. Plumb, cherry, stone fruit. Crisp and refreshing. Cuts though the fat like a knife. And ends with a bitter sweetness that makes you want to take another sip.
Not as amazing as I remembered back in 2017 in Montepulciano. But good in its own way. Softened much more the 2nd day. Maybe I should decant for 5hrs next time. — 3 years ago

Mike Smith has done it yet again with this 2014 big bold Napa Cab. Myriad - Dr. Crane, continues to be one of my favorite Napa Cabs since 2010. Paired to perfection with steaks from Capital Grille, I wish we could spend every Saturday night with this bottle. Unfortunately the 2015 is already sold out. — 8 years ago
カベルネソーヴィニヨン嫌いなアタシでもスッと飲める!かなり好みかも。 — 11 years ago
Cherry, raspberry preserves, currant, blackberry, mossy earth and oak. Full-bodied and soft tannins. — 8 months ago
Beautiful and very well rounded. Less sweet than I usually like but still so tasty. Very full on the nose- hints of flush red fruit. Nice acidity and tannin balance. — 8 months ago
Fabulous. Aged in the cellar until 2024. Could have even left longer perhaps. — 10 months ago
Pear, lemon curd, slate, peach, Granny Smith apple and hints of petrol. Bold acidity and great minerality. — 10 months ago
Very easy to drink. Smooth. — 3 years ago

Woodsy and violet bright fruit and currant and dried cherry on the nose l. Classic zing in the center or the palate. Exquisitely smooth and elegant and with a bouncy tannin.. Warm deep finish. — 7 years ago
Prisvärt och right up my ally! Lite koda, choklad, kiwi, salmiak, lite barrskog och len men ändå mustig i truten/flabben. In på hansa och hugg den. 👌😌 — 7 years ago
Pretty solid.... Cherry cola notes, while secondary. Tilled soil, dusty, kimchi, arugula.... — 10 years ago
Beautiful perfumed nose, balance between heavy fruit forward cab and earthy Syrah. Perfect Halloween haunt. — 8 months ago

Very nice rose, very flavorful — 6 years ago
A replacement for the Pairing as a Marry Edwards regular bottle. Definitely sharper and less pronounced stone fruit, but nicely balanced and went well with all dinner courses. Bottles went too fast to see how they opened, so questionable still as a stand-alone (probably great); high marks for elevating the usual crisp white wine dishes. — 7 years ago
Ali Story, of Smith-Story Wines, was in town and did a nice tasting at Classic today. A pleasure to meet and very unique and enjoyable wines.
This is an elegant style Pinot...lots of brambly notes, kirsch, and cedar bark. All red and black fruits here. Ali said that the barrels this pinot is done in comes from Russell Bevan. Quite the opposite style! — 7 years ago
Loved this. Not too rich, and yet still distinctly "chard." — 10 years ago
Really nice port, not to sweet and great dark fruit flavor. — 10 years ago
