Suoer delicious, smooth. Light — 5 years ago
Magnificent super Tuscan. In the same class as Tignanello. Beautiful, ready to drink. Decant it if you can but it's fine to pop and pour, swirl and go! — 6 years ago
Had with make-your-own pizza. Enough depth to carry our meal, not too heavy. — 7 years ago
Very mineral and has the colour and aroma of black currants. Like it a lot. — 8 years ago
Big dark fruit, ripe plum, with supporting tobacco and smoke. Tannins are smooth thought still grippy after 17 years. Amaze. — 9 years ago
2005 vintage. Amazing wine. Well balanced, long finish. Long, complex layers. Wine of the night. — 9 years ago

Verdicchio dei castelli di Jesi DOC 2011, Classico Superiore, 13%. An excellent sample of what Verdicchio should look, and taste: the right balance of fruits and flowers aromas. Very satisfying! — 12 years ago
Very easy to drink. Smooth. — 3 years ago
Cassis, flowers. On the “big” side but still light on its feet. Very woody. — 3 years ago
Woodsy and violet bright fruit and currant and dried cherry on the nose l. Classic zing in the center or the palate. Exquisitely smooth and elegant and with a bouncy tannin.. Warm deep finish. — 7 years ago
Great elegance meets wonderful structure. — 9 years ago
Pretty solid.... Cherry cola notes, while secondary. Tilled soil, dusty, kimchi, arugula.... — 10 years ago
Classically styled. Tho young, eminently drinkable after a quick decant. — 10 years ago
Sicilian wine from the base of Mount Etna. 95% Nerello Mascalese, 5% Nerello Cappuccio. Soft but chalky, earthy, more low tones, herbaceous but not too much. Medium body, slight rhubarb, but again- not in the way wines can be when they are too young to drink. Really lovely wine. Apparently, the winery is no longer making wine due to lack of interest from the family heirs. — 12 years ago
Strong sharp almost acrylic smell followed by rich fruity aroma, plumb - oak - layered rich and thick. Later on almost like expensive tea with a complex and fragrant bouquet .
Taste is sharp at first with stringent dry tannic. Powerful and strong. Followed by fruit. Plumb, cherry, stone fruit. Crisp and refreshing. Cuts though the fat like a knife. And ends with a bitter sweetness that makes you want to take another sip.
Not as amazing as I remembered back in 2017 in Montepulciano. But good in its own way. Softened much more the 2nd day. Maybe I should decant for 5hrs next time. — 3 years ago
A great evening with three of them!!
Amarone, nothing else to say... — 5 years ago
Really good Bolgheri, great value. Refined and nicely arrayed palate of cocoa, chocolates and dark red fruit. The Syrah adds some oomph and structure. A yummy candied cherry quality and grippy tannins suggest additional cellar time could be rewarded. — 6 years ago
Prisvärt och right up my ally! Lite koda, choklad, kiwi, salmiak, lite barrskog och len men ändå mustig i truten/flabben. In på hansa och hugg den. 👌😌 — 7 years ago

One of the most beautiful Pinot Nero's coming out of Italy. We all need more Oltrepó Pavese wines in our lives! — 9 years ago
Bill and Sandi brought this to share with us before they started their sailing cruise to the Bahamas. Great wine but probably not the best value for the cost. — 10 years ago
