Purple red in color, dense. Blueberry blackberry minty smoke and wood notes in nose. Berry cherry smoke notes in mouth (later morphing almost into cola) with some tongue coating astringency in finish. Strawberry and blackberry aftertaste. Very Beaujolais-like. Lots of juicy pomegranate, blueberry, cranberry, and a bit of grape. Rose and violet potpourri, vintage lipstick, crushed oyster shell minerality. Bright, lifted, and very pretty with subtle chalky tannins. (This review is for the 2019 Iruai Shasta-Cascade) — 5 years ago

Gringet! Love this nose. Hay, herbal, alpine, feral, piney, so different and invigorating. Superb alpine air minerality. Great purity and such clean mousse. Lovely sap and extract with terrific persistence on the finish. Very pure and very clean. Such a unique and delicious wine. Not much fruit which is a very good thing. — 6 years ago

Classic method from Hampshire in the UK, 12%. My first taste of sparkling wine from Great Britain. Light, but intense yellow color, with very fine perlage. "Cold" nose, with scents of confectionery, but a bit "pollaio" too. In the mouth immense acidity (a bit too much for me), and very citrous . Not my favorite. 81/100 — 11 years ago
