Vintage 2022 | Fresh, saline, minerals. Aligoté is confusing to recognize when tasting blind, it can also be rather meager. But this Aligoté is textbook: fine citrus in smell, tones of Granny Smith in first sips, very very vibrant and juicy. You long to a new sip of the wine. Paired with Asian yaki udon with pointed cabbage, oystermushrooms, bacon strips and a viscous sauce in which I added a bit saké. — 6 months ago

Delicious. About $25 from Liner & Elsen — 3 years ago
A delightful Brut with the crispness of pear and green apple accented with strawberry and raspberry. A nice rose to celebrate my nephew's 1st birthday and to enjoy on a sunny Sunday. — 5 years ago
Excellent mature but not over the hill Bourgogne rouge. Big improvement from my last off bottle — 6 years ago

Earthy notes on the nose. Slight bitterness but not as pronounced. Red apple skins. Green apple on the finish. This wine wants to be drunk with any food. Good — 9 years ago
Pretty. Violets, minerals, mushroom, cranberry and cola on the nose. Good acidity, somewhat candied fruit and cherry cola on the palate. — 11 years ago
Still young. — 11 years ago
This bottle brought me tremendous joy. My last bottle a few months back was over the hill and it really bothered me because I felt this could easily go 10+ years when I tasted it on release. This is a perfect example of there are no great wines just great bottles. Lovely scents of apple, lime and vanilla. A wonderfully integrated palate with a finish that makes you think premier cru. — 5 months ago

2010 with such fresh crisp fruit. Meyer lemon and powdery minerality. Want to put away a few bottles, see the evolution. — 11 years ago
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. A pale lemon color in the glass with barely visible little green flecks. Lemon zest and apples of different varieties on the nose. Limestone and honey with a touch of sugar. Minerals and chamomile. So very sexy.
Lithe, lively, and lovely. Medium plus acidity with a ton of character and elegance. Very pure and fresh, clean. There’s a hint of slivered almond initially in the mouth followed by butterscotch and nectarines. Plenty of citrus notes here. A long finishing leaves you wanting more. A truly compelling Burgundy. — 8 months ago

From Domestique 4/13/19 for tagine, but only opened 2013 in garden on 4/27/19. Chlorine smell for J; lemon, thyme, chives, cloves, vanilla. Mouthfeel and long finish of pine. Pretty rich for Muscsdet. Expected salinity. Malted Easter egg shells. — 6 years ago
Ripe but still fresh and delicious for its level. — 8 years ago
