It is 44 year old Hawkes Bay Cabernet Sauvignon and it's still alive so that's a 10 right there. Now the wine is delicate and soft with aroma of leather and dusty attic. Opened up a bit in the glass with a hint of delicate black fruit. Past its best but still a pleasure — 9 years ago
