Happy New Year! Crisp and a little tangy, easy across the palate. — 9 years ago
A rare find from my last trip to New Zealand. A fortified pinot noir from Martinborough. Fortified in '06 and then blended with the '09 vintage. You can smell and see the age in this wine. The fortification isn't overbearing. This is delicious. This was also one of the more fun tours we took that day. Spice. Plums. Liquorice. Chocolate. Yum. — 10 years ago
Really nice. Fruity but not too sweet. Low tannin. Very smooth. Easy to drink all night. — 11 years ago

Stewed fruit and cooked cherry nose. Dark cherry in the mouth with moderate plus acid. Aging nicely and an excellent example of the coastal end of SLH. — 9 years ago

Deep red purple, medium + tannin, on the nose is herbaceous, stemmy, bright lifted & peppery blackcurrent juice! Such a complex Shiraz! Had it with grilled steak and it is absolutely perfect! — 8 years ago
