Dark fruits, blackberry/blueberry, smoky, gamey, good acid and spice, tannins integrated. Tasty!! — 10 years ago
Slight butterscotch aroma, heavy body with fruit tones and a buttery finish. More intense than most Merlots.

Everything I like about Grenache in one bottle - floral nose, berry fruit, spice, subtle tannins and some acidity for balance. A tiny bit dryer and it would be perfect. Winemaker's comments: 1/3 from old vines at McDowell Vineyard in Mendocino, 2/3 from younger vines at Pierce Ranch in SW Monterey. — 10 years ago
Slightly hazy orange tinged pink color with red fruit, tangerine, watermelon rind, mineral and hint of floral aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied with wonderful acidity and a hint of effervescence with strawberry, ripe fresh cherry, a bit of red plum, spiced blood orange, and mineral flavors. Lingering finish. Made from a field blend of 90+ year old Grenache Gris from a special old Mendocino vineyard in McDowell Valley. Fermented in neutral oak. Bottled unfiltered, so there is noticeable sediment ( a good thing in my book) — 10 years ago
Well aged, high acid, still some fruit! — 10 years ago

Talk about an accidental sleeper that turned out killer. Still showed rich dark fruit underscored by leather and tobacco and spice. Totally surprising. #latervino — 9 years ago
