So, how are the big '09s Beaujolais five years in? If this is any indication, totally fine, if not graceful and pretty. Pure fruit core with very broad shoulders structurally. Nothing high-toned, and none of the brett or VA I often find in this producer. Was kind of bummed that I didn't order something younger and fresher until I remembered what and insane wine this is for the money and who cares. Great with veal and Morrels. 5-10 years ahead at least. — 11 years ago

Gorgeous. Still prominent red fruit--cherries, raspberries, or as one person at the table put it, a freshly macerated berry mix. Lots of pinot funk layered on top, with bright acidity and lingering forever on our palates. — 11 years ago
