A distinct salinity makes the 2012 vintage really something special. Awesome stuff, here, but what else is to be expected from Matthew Rorick? — 8 years ago
Pale gold, fresh grassy nose with no after taste. Great champagne under $20 with discount coupon and shipping. — 9 years ago
Verdelho.Labeled California as it is a blend from Sierra Foothills (Rorick vineyard in Calaveras County and Dewitt's vineyard in Amador County) and Central Valley (Vista Luna Vineyard in Borden Ranch - Lodi AVA). Bright yellow. Intense, fresh nose with pineapple and ripe grapefruit. Taste corresponds to the smell, great mix of pineapple fruit and the subtle bitterness of ripe grapefruit, great balancing acidity, real depth and a long finish. Never tasted anything this good from this grape. Great stuff. Matthew Rorick strikes again! 2014 vintage. — 9 years ago

Slightly effervescent, like a soirée on my tongue. — 12 years ago
Amazing. Well balanced. Amazing acidity and excellent structure. — 7 years ago
This was the white tasting of the day at Yangarra. On the nose, tropical fruits, melon and the softest most delicate yellow florals. Creamy month entry that is extremely elegant, nuts, powdery soft minerality, pineapple, peach, melon, citrus blend, beautiful yellow soft florals, high acidity yet mellow. Creamy style as the wine spent some extra time on lees. — 9 years ago
Matthew is crushing the trousseau. Keep up the good work, bro. — 9 years ago

Riesling from California......and it's good?! Really good. Nice zip. The fruit is starting to show itself a little more and is a welcome addition to the program. Would love to do this side-by-side with Tatomer's from the same site. — 11 years ago
Light but has an identity. Lovely. — 12 years ago

I love French butter almost as much as I love French wine. Get you one who can do both? 😂 #pghwinefestival — 7 years ago
Squid ink black, with stringent tannins.

Fairly pale color, high citrus as is to be expected, fairly well rounded. — 8 years ago
Delicious. Ended with a crisp fruity happy taste. — 9 years ago
The nose is like sniffing a regular great pinot noir glass standing in a bouqet of flowers; the perfume is remarkable, sweet and delicate; taste is equally refined, structure is solid - medium acids and silky but tangible tannins - and the fruity lighly-oaked and -tannic finish leaves me wanting more. — 9 years ago
Finally had a chance to try this famous wine (thank you @Matthew Rorick) and guess what? It's frickin' awesome. Brilliant balance, ripe fruit balancing laser acidity, it completely works. Really stunning. Pretty cool when such a highly sought after wine doesn't just live up to the hype but exceeds it. — 9 years ago
was on the thin side at first but evolved over an hour or two. last glass was heavenly- nice nose and fruit really became expressive. I would let breath in glass for a while. — 10 years ago
Thanksgiving 2014. Very good. Not spicy. — 11 years ago
2008. The purest vougeot I ve encountered so far. Less expressive organic strawberry nose. No black fruit detected. Palate is a drawback due to the vintage? Watery at mid palate, stingy at the back but really vivid. A fantastic vougeot. Buy. — 11 years ago
