Very nice. Light, fun, and fruity. A great Shiraz for the price. — 8 years ago
I'm with the skeptics of this vintage lots of fruit, fine, ripeness, fine but it's not that great. — 9 years ago

Chapoutier never disappoints. Nice and light. Raspberry on the nose and palate. Falls off on the finish. Made for hot summer days. — 11 years ago

18.5 Deep gold. Nose brilliant, very complex. Great mouthfeel, perfect balance, rich but not cloying. So long - i taste it 5 minutes later when writin this.Amazing wine! — 2 years ago
Riktigt fint vin. Lamm eller nöt och någon syrlig sås såsom bearnaise är en perfekt kombo. En fransk favorit. Värd pengarna. — 5 years ago

Slight floral quality to the edgy sweetness and gorgeous black fruit. I suspect some co-fermentation here (Viognier). Lovely, lively, and lithe on the palate. Plenty of acids here, so this will pair with nearly any meats. Just to reiterate, this is not your typical Paso syrah (no offense), but an elegant rendition of the grape. — 9 years ago

IMHO - Should be served just below room temp (18c/65f), any colder just washes out the fruit. On the nose, minerals and stone fruit, same in the mouth. Good acid - no Rhône flabbiness here. Medium-long finish. Very good. Needs a few more years to round out. — 2 years ago

Apple from the white and berry from the red. Tastes like an impossibly sweet shiraz. — 8 years ago

$15 closeout & feels like theft! Inky massive, voluptuous wafting tons of dense black fruit, brooding, white pepper, game, bit feral, had a bit more nuance than many garden variety Shiraz. Very broad across the middle, generous ripe black fruit & pepper, decent balance, little clumsy & provincial, but definitely enjoyable. — 10 months ago
