Great nose: raw dry-aged strip steak, crushed rocks, peppercorns, oozy dark berry sap. Dense and minerally, this is soft-textured but with loads of tannic scaffolding. Long, clingy, minerally finish. Because it’s from Corbieres, the acids are a bit lower than, say, a Northern Rhône Syrah, but other than that it would be a dead ringer for a Syrah from that region. Great value. — 8 years ago
Normally a Merlot from Sonoma I would have zero interest in but WOW! This wine is amazing, vanilla, leather, and subtly smoke on the nose. Medium to heavy body on the palate. Nice mint tobacco finish with a well balanced mixed of tannins on the finish. Moon Mountain AVA is the next big thing! — 8 years ago
The nose here is a flight to France and back. And it's not until later you realize you didn't have to pay for a ticket, but you sure as hell got your money's worth. — 9 years ago
Solid wine. Having this with some BBQ and good company. I'll be adding this to my collection — 9 years ago

Yannick is a rock star! We fell in love with his Colombard, and now his Tannat, Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet. Check out these wines! — 10 years ago

A beautiful wine. — 6 years ago
Mathieu has taken over winemaking and has done a fabulous job. This was all bright mid red fruits with some hues of blue and soft earthiness. Fresh & pure wire to to wire and a really nice pair with Hedy’s amazing spicy pumpkin soup. @ Plate & Bottle. Photos of, those old narly Gamay vines, Hedy’s spicy pumpkin soup, Mathieu barrel tasting and a little fireside bubbles & cheese before dinner. — 8 years ago
Delicious aperitif! — 8 years ago
Red and black fruits, herbs and spices on the nose; light but well structured with firm tannins and delicious acidity, lots of fruit and savoury notes — 8 years ago

Beautiful! Classic, exactly what I'm look for in a Burgundy. — 9 years ago
From a restaurant in Puligny-Montrachet, popped and poured. Nice young color. A surprise of exotic fruit in the nose, with great verve and spine in the mouth. Outperformed expectations. — 10 years ago

A lovely selection from Fat Cork. Vintage blend: 85% 2011, 15% 2010. Dosage 11g/l. Disgorgement April 2016. Very nice! — 8 years ago
2010 - very straw and raspberry aromatics - very hidden palate that one hopes will express itself later - but one never knows with Pinot. — 10 years ago
For a village wine from this weak vintage, this is sensational. — 11 years ago
One of the best values ever in vintage Champagne--delicate and wonderful. — 11 years ago
