Go to Newtown PA liquor store. Only $20 for this fabulous $60 wine! Cheers! — 10 years ago
Opened a 2009 to watch the U.S. Open. Chocolate flavors opened slowly but grew luscious. Not gonna say where a bought this because I'm going back to buy what's left. — 10 years ago
Earthy red/black fruits, with nice tannins and good acid. Weighty, savory mid-palate and beautiful, herbal finish. — 11 years ago
Amazing. Need. More. Hazelnut and vanilla nose — 12 years ago
This had some funk to it.. very anti-Aussie in its approach. Shiraz/Mataro blend with a zippy, fresh quality to it. Slightly chilled, this’d be good. — 7 years ago
2012 was better — 10 years ago
Absolute delight. Deep berries and currants. Very fruity yet balanced with earthy minerals and light tannins. Great food wine with white meats and medium intensity flavours. Couldn't stop drinking this! — 10 years ago
Light, fresh red fruits. Pinot noir style. Good summer wine. — 10 years ago
Hard to resist the urge to chug this straight from the bottle. Good juice. — 11 years ago
@LangmeilWinery never seems to fail to deliver. We don't see a wide array of wines but they're definitely a fave. — 12 years ago
Bright, smooth, very pleasant to drink. Will be even better in at least a few years. — 8 years ago
When in Oz, find and drink their best wines. — 9 years ago
Fin body og dejlig frugtagtig. Alt afstemt til dejlig seafood. — 10 years ago
Dark fruit - ripe and jammy blackberry, with black cherry and a pronounced oak spice, presenting as gingerbread spice / pfeffernusse. Slight eucalyptus or mint character. I'm taken with this nose - it's so... Christmas excess.
Dark fruit - blackberry, black cherry.
This seemed lighter than the Steading, with medium plus body and elevated alcohol, but actually the alcohol was 15.5%.
Elevated acid - possibly acidified, based on how it stuck out, and seemed slightly bitter/artificial. Very minimal tannins. Balanced, ripe, and delicious, with a polarizing gingerbread character. — 10 years ago
Very nice Mataro - still quite young though, and would drink much better with a few more years in the bottle — 12 years ago
