I’m not a “natural wine” devotee necessarily, but I am a Martha devotee.
Out to The Meadow is almost always one of my favorites in her line up. Chenin driven, this wine shows the variety’s funkier side on the nose (honeysuckle, wet wool, hay, gray stones). On the palate, it balances sweet (honey, honeysuckle) and sour (incredible tart, barely ripe green apple, white nectarine); fruity, vegetal and just the right amount of bitter (at least for those of us with an bias towards Italian whites) with Vermentino’s unmistakable salty fennel/herbal/grapefruit pith on the finish. Have no idea what “green hungarian” and “chasselas doré” add to the blend, but I trust the master and her modern interpretation of what a century old California field blend would have looked and tasted like. — 2 years ago

Phenomenal. Other-worldly. — 4 years ago
I didn’t know what to expect but this bottle certainly exceeded. Lots of fun varietals blended in for a unique experience.
It’s a pale cloudy color with a strong but delightful funkiness mixed with some buttery vanilla notes. Down the gullet is bright tropical fruit like banana/pineapple but this powerful acidity to compliment a nice medium body. Touches of wildflowers as well, bodes well with the name. Lasting, lingering finish. This is great!
I’ve seen prices range from $35-$55. It’s still a good deal either way. — 5 years ago

A wine as bubbly as it’s label. It’s the friend that puts you in a good mood simply because you’re going to hang out, and you haven’t even met up yet.
Low alcohol and easy to sip or chug, no party fouls included. It’s not low on flavor—pineapple and juicy Granny Smith, a little bit of butter bread, and some Haribo peachy-o-yeses. Don’t let the sweet scare you, let it warm up a little bit from its chill chill mega chill and it smooths out like a summer sunset. — 3 years ago
Good, solid - but the other red is better for a better price. Would drink again! — 3 years ago
