This is delightful wine to just sip and enjoy. Hints of barrel spice to lift the strawberry and red cherry fruit fruit notes then a beam of chalk and warm stones. Initially a bit closed and was thrown off but after about 5mins in the glass the intensity picked up notably. Pears, apples, hint of honey followed by balanced acidity that complement the nose and palate. Kept picking up volume with every glass. — 4 years ago
