Complex, balanced, bright yet smooth — 8 years ago
Not a lot of fruit, but a ton of minerality and some nice texture. — 8 years ago
the best wine made in my home valley. It uses the same process as Amarone but it is smoother and fresher without loosing complex structure and strong cherry and caramel — 8 years ago

One of a kind Grillo. Went away for a week with a half a bottle left in fridge. Came home and it was still fantastic if not deeper in flavour and more balanced. Serious stuff. Big structure. Tastes of the coast of Sicily. 2011 vintage — 10 years ago
Nebbiolo blended with Merlot. This 2009 is just starting to mature...pubescent wine? Very bright red fruits followed by something smoky and interesting Happy #valentines — 10 years ago
A little harsh but a good harsh. Fruity/warty taste and smell. Danie isn't a fan. — 11 years ago
Integer. Unfortunately, this wine is very rare. No sulphites, only native yeats, it's pure grillo grape. Yellow flowers, orange skin, peanuts butter in mounth, nuts and dried fruits. Awesome! — 12 years ago
Had this at mockingbird in Oakland. Loved it. Some floral notes also slightly peppery. Fairly full bodied — 7 years ago
New vintage! Smashable as ever — 8 years ago
On 18/12/16 lillo e Barbaglini — 9 years ago
Very well-balanced. But I wish it was a bit fuller-bodied. Sort of like how it's cool to see a gymnast standing one footed on the beam, but would be far more impressive to see an Hillary do it.

-UPDATE: this thing opened up really nicely over an hour or so (I was distracted from my drinking, usually it's all gone quicker than that). — 9 years ago
Aglianico: like Bordeaux for the Marlboro Man. — 10 years ago
Great Catalan wine. — 10 years ago
First time for me - 100% Grillo. Green almonds and hazlenuts immediately transported me back to being at seppeltsfield tasting show reserves from the early 1900s. Stunning. — 10 years ago
