2013 and paired well with our dinner, but good all on its own. — 9 years ago
Intense, teeth-staining, black fruit and tannins that will rip your face off. Blinded as a New World Cab/Shiraz blend. — 9 years ago
One of my favorite Santa Cruz Mountains pinot noir producers, and this bottle was a great example of why. Fruity but not overly so, rich but easy drinking. A fun and enjoyable wine that I'm happy to drink anytime. — 9 years ago

Kryddig! Skulle kunna gå för en cabernet. — 10 years ago
Lot of maracuya and litchi aromas and very crisp acidity. Perfectly fresh for the season. Nicely paired with grouper fish over ratatouille. — 11 years ago
Very good. Light and fruity. Enjoyed with chicken. — 12 years ago

Mike Grgich, the “King of Chardonnay” farms w/o pesticides and certified organic. Aged 10 months and did not undergo malolactic fermentation. The color is a pale golden yellow with aromas of stone, tropical fruit and citrus. The palate shows off apple, melon and peach flavors, with some orange rind and nutty notes coming through. The finish was rich and creamy with some spicy mineral and perfumed tones lingering to a complex ending. Not your typical California Chardonnay, Grgich delivers like a few can! — 8 years ago
This wine was a great surprise, great value for the $13.99 price! A little tropical and earthiness on the nose, but on the palate it really came alive - crisp with a bit of effervescence, good acid and retaining the fruit flavor. Great with Indian food or any spicy food or shellfish. — 9 years ago
Deep purple colour and lovely inviting wild blackcurrant bouquet. Very pleasant blackberry and plum flavour, the alcohol level not extreme but at a noticeable level though. Bought from selfridges. — 9 years ago

Loved this red! Smooth and dry, but not too dry. Some sweet notes, reminiscent of berries and summer. A tad smoky. I could drink this all day! — 7 years ago
Oro pajizo, en nariz fruta blanca, notas cítricas, mucha salinidad. En boca buena entrada, paso salino y mineralidad alta. — 8 years ago
I think it's quite good. — 8 years ago
In full disclosure I have enjoyed few orange wines (think white wines of white of grey grapes that have macerated on their skins like a red wine would in terms of length of skin contact). This however is from squeaky clean Riesling that has spent a month or so on its skins until November and even so is pure and clear, citric and textural, with chirpy tannins, marmalade and apricot pastry. Even the next day it resonated round the whole palate and if anything rocked its back into its orange structure. Delicious and one of a kind. — 9 years ago
2004...why can't the vintage be detected? It's clear. Anyway, the wine is at its peak right now. Some typical heavy oak notes on the back palate, but wine is solid. — 9 years ago
Great blend with smooth finish — 9 years ago

Cherry and black plum notes. dark chocolate, cherry and firm tannins. Not quite as refined as previous years, but still really nice. — 6 years ago
