By far the best Sauvignon blanc we’ve had. Fruity, balanced, interesting without being OTT. Well worth the cost. — 6 years ago

A local restaurant was featuring this fabulous Paso Robles Merlot! Lovely, a great surprise! Tastes like a Bordeaux- full bodied deliciousness! — 7 years ago
Very enjoyable with a real smooth and full taste. Decanted and giving really nice berry and cherry aromas. One of Mrs GVs favorites...why...well it was nice 🙂

Honey, apricot, clean, the muscat flavor is amazing — 9 years ago
Another solid zin from Rockpile! Blackberry and boysenberry greet your nose, along with some pepper and spice. Dark fruit dominates the palate--tannins were a little assertive at first, but our aerating pourer toned it down nicely. So would decanting. — 9 years ago

A nicely balanced Pinot that is a good value. — 11 years ago

2014. Very nice blend for the price. Let it open up for awhile first. Does beg for food, but can be consumed alone if you like drinking reds without food. — 9 years ago

Deep red, but very opaque, light red fruits but has a complexity to it with a leathery edge. probably has the flavour to match some dark red meats. — 7 years ago
54% Upland Vyd Grenache, 38% Boushey Vyd Mourvèdre, 8% Blue Mtn Vyd Syrah, Block 8. Unfined, unfiltered, 312 cases made. Weed, herb, raspberry and black current notes in nose with a hint of mint/eucalyptus. Raspberry, cherry and cassis in mouth, mild seed bitterness in finish . Not much in the way of tannins buts lots of varietal character — 8 years ago
My favorite blended wine of everywhere I've ever been. — 10 years ago
I had this as part of my club shipment but hadn't gotten around to opening it right away. What a pleasant surprise it was when I finally got around to it. My wife used the aerator and I did not but after a little time sitting open it was just as good without. The first thing you will notice is the deep rich color that's so good you think you should be able us it for a royal gown. I love a jammy and intense wine. I wasn't disappointed. Now I have to get more before they sell out. — 11 years ago
