mmmm. started out super funky, dark juicy fruit, milky. as it sat for a minute it warmed up and got more tannic and chewy. say medium tannin, balanced by medium acids and dryness. definitely bolder but not overwhelmingly so. super enjoyable. i love seb david ❤️ — 6 years ago

Low yields in Northern Rhône 2013, but the quality of the fruit is prevalent here. Structured and well-integrated fine grained tannins at the five year mark. The nose explodes out of the glass with finesse and doused complexities. Definitive Syrah nuances of black raspberries, black plums, black olives, fresh cut violets, cracked black pepper, Indian spices, grilled and smoked meats, and stone dust. Light weight but packs a continuous release of flavors. Nose and palate changes from fruit to floral to spicy to meaty. As you move to different areas and rooms the wine changes. The more air it gets, the more meat starts hanging out. Complex indeed for a $20 bottle. Great showing. — 8 years ago

10 years on tasting. Dark and restrained. Clearly good stuff but very cold-blooded. All the class you'd like but completely not there yet. Real quality here — 10 years ago

It's LOVE!!! Once again 60% Pinot Noir!!! — 12 years ago

This was a by-the-glass favorite at the Loire property where we stayed. Biodynamic Pinot d’Aunis. Lots of wild red berries complicated by earthy, peppery and floral tones — a year ago
Paired with tuna at Sushi Nakazawa. A good match that won’t overpower delicate tuna tastes — 5 years ago

Looooooved this. So bouncy and so pine-y! I drank it cold, like past the point of chilled, because no wine fridge or central air, and I thought it was perfect that way? — 8 years ago
Amazingly rich with delicate bubbles. Full of ripe pear, apple pastry, creme brûlée, toffee, and a touch of cheese rind. The acid is present enough to offset the richness. This is a tête I would buy again! — 9 years ago
Orange wine? Nah but wow close to it in color. A hint of sherry cask. Medium in body. Semi dry. Needs time. — 10 years ago
Stinky, reductive, needs lots of air & time to breath. Funky cab franc which many won't like. — 11 years ago
Fiiiinalllyyy!!!! I got the chance to taste it! And OMG, it just has that perfect harmony! And the light style with those red fruits... Perfect!
