Beautiful nose of flowers and cream. Dark color. Great body of complexity with long finish. Almost fruity. 1998 17yr. Sherry solera cask in 1970. Gordon's tasting 8/25/16 special scotch. 43% ABV. — 9 years ago
Nostril notes of briny oysters, golden raisin, clover honey, burnt cedar, vine charcoal. Big palatal forefront of cinnamon roll, coffee cake, candied lemon and laquer in a complex, satisfyingly rich finish! — 9 years ago
Quite tasty. Good Anderson valley fruit, it's distinct from the RRV and Sonoma coast...Dirty nose featuring plenty of barnyard, but some nice red ripe fruit as well on the palate. Sadly just a tad too hot, at 14.5%abv. Makes for excellent BBQ wine however. — 9 years ago

Root beer nose with pine sap tendrils, caraway seed, carmelized coffee and tea biscuit, and rosemary. Tastes of pine nettle, peppercorn, brine and caramel smoke. — 9 years ago
2007 Sequum Saramento Pinot (by James MacPhail) and a brand new version of Merry Edwards' fine Sauvignon Blanc made for a lovely evening at Baltimore's Aromes restaurant in the Hampden neighborhood. — 9 years ago
Awesome Rosebank at Cask Strength. Lowlands profile is evident, with citrusy, floral entry and amazing citrus kick in the mid-palate. Finish was ever so slightly smoky, and just really really good! — 10 years ago
Slightly thinner less fruit but good smell and diversity — 10 years ago
