This was a great vertical tasting of Maclaren Vale's Quarterback 2004 to 2007. The 2004 Shiraz 26%, Cabernet Sauvignon 25%, Merlot 25% & Grenache. The 2005 Shiraz 30%, Cabernet Sauvignon 27%, Merlot 22%, and Grenache 21%. The 2006 Shiraz 27%, Cabernet Sauvignon 23%, Merlot 25% and Grenache 25%. Kick ass QPR. Smokey, jammy, intense fruit (almost tart), with a little Carmel/cola I usually taste in RRV Pinot. Still feels young. Huge body and finish. Sub $40 that drinks twice that. 42 39 56 you could say she's got it all! — 8 years ago
