Cuvee of Merlot and Cabernet Franc (possibly with some Malbec and/or Petit Verdot)
Mature brownish red garnet. Transparent but youthful for its age.
Classic claret perfume from the first second of opening and kept getting better as the night went on. Truffle, shiitake mushroom, old leather, potpourri.
Complete integration with no sign of stumbling over the hill. Bright red fruit, smoky cedar, earthy soil tone, cooking spices. The mouthfeel is supple and elegant, no excess or pretension. Clean and fully mature.

Light salmon pink with tiny bubbles. Rich with medium intensity on the nose with notes of strawberry creme, roses, spices and a little tropical with melon and kiwi. High acidity and lively on the palate with a mixed red berries and light white fruits. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2026. — 5 years ago
