Great nose. Smooth throughout — 4 months ago
Solid Napa Cab, pretty floral and chocolate notes mixed with sweet tobacco leaf, oak and dark fruit. Drank a bit young, tannins got pretty grippy and gave me a slight headache, but overall a nice wine — 5 months ago
Initially nice with red fruits, opening up with more forest floor after about 15 mins. 30 mins later, the heat of the vintage comes out. So, really enjoyable, but only for a pretty narrow window of time. — 7 months ago
You know you are drinking $400 plus a bottle Grand Cru Burgundy with the first sip. Is it worth it? If you have the money sure but, think you can find very good and near same quality for less money.
Another gorgeous 22. I know someone who has been going to Burgundy as a professional for 40 years that compared the 22 vintage to 59 and that is a huge statement that has the potential in time to prove itself out.
It is magic with the first sip. Perfect ripe and round. It is lush; Granny Smith apples, lime flesh w/ zest, lemon meringue, pineapple, green melon and white stone fruits. Honeysuckle, caramel, white cream froth, sea fossils & spray, beautiful chalky powder, limestone powder, biscuit, just a hint of mint leaf, field of spring flowers, yellow lilies framed in jasmine, perfect rainfall acidity and a round, elegant, lush, well balanced, well knitted finish that lasts minutes and fall on powdery mineral & white spice. — 9 months ago

Although 2013 and very very young consuming at a restaurant we got to enjoy it a lot more as the time passed and it was decanted. This will be a beauty - shame but still lovely! — 10 years ago
Full-bodied and fully mature. Very good but was expecting magic that did not happen. — 3 months ago

Sour cherry, sassafras, earth, orange rind, forest floor and great acid. Very nice. — 5 months ago
Opened about 30 minutes prior to dinner but no decant. Served slightly chilled. The 2016 “Blanche” pours a deep straw color with medium viscosity. Developing with notes of ripe stone fruit, tropical fruit, nutmeg, white pepper, minerals and cotton candy. On the palate, the wine is dry with lower acid. Confirming the notes from the nose, the finish is medium+. This is a wine of impeccable texture to match the king crab legs with dinner. Drink now through 2031. — 6 months ago
Good fruit, smooth tannins….this wine is drinking well and has some life left — 8 months ago
Sneaky ripe for an Hermitage. A lot of fruit right out of the gate, but as it warms/breathes...The classic tar, meat and leather starts to emerge. What a wine — 8 years ago
Classic burgundy, great structure and well integrated but was a bit green all the way through. — 9 years ago
Really love this wine! — 10 years ago
It's a #champagne type of day!! — 11 years ago
The 2023 kept its beauty over 3 days . Each day showing fuller riper fruit while maintaining a tart and taut edge. Pineapple. Orchard fruits, citrus. Impressive. — 4 months ago
Easy drinker. Pale straw hues in the glass and medium white fruits on the nose. Light citrusy lemon, melon and green apple on the palate. A good balance of acidity and minerality. Don't kill this with an icy chill. Drink this with a light chill for optimum flavor. — 6 months ago
A very nice Clos de Bez from Jadot. Surprisingly decent — 8 months ago
This was our second bottle. First was uninspiring and despite the 97pt RP rating, found it to be disappointing. The trick is to let it breathe for at least an hour to let the flavors develop. It is no Opus One but very satisfying with a juicy steak or just plain enjoyment! — 8 years ago
Reminds me of France. Of course. — 10 years ago
