Lotus of Siam. Perfect Thai food accompaniment. — 9 years ago
Delectable lies. This was NOT a $525 wine! — 10 years ago
Beautiful yet young. Opens like a lotus; it unfolds one layer at a time going from backward at the beginning then flowery with very delicate rose "potpourri". After an hour, the nose is striking: camphor, marmalade and strong rose, very focused. On the palate, crisp acidity and a good weight. Although a bit austere at start, I really builds on to a beautiful, long finish. Everything is here. A strong negociant wine without a doubt. My bet is southern burgundy origin. Total must buy. — 11 years ago
Couldn't resist the '08 on lotus of Siam's list, but could not chosen wrong with all the goodie that have. — 11 years ago
$40 at Lotus of Siam, Las Vegas. Absolute steal. Great wine for the price — 12 years ago
Good bit of petrol on the nose. Not quit as rich as I would have imagined. Plenty of fruit left. Drinking really lovely. Oh Lotus of Siam, how I cannot wait to be back! — 9 years ago
Naked Buddha and fried squid. Suction cups galore! Need to drink this in a seated lotus position and not have Frederique yelling J'adore! He is obviously not in love with me — 10 years ago
Juyondai junmai ginjo at lotus of Siam! Even after open for a month, still so aromatic — 11 years ago
Oh if only the Elmhurst, NY, Thai places had wine lists like Chada Thai and Lotus of Siam. — 11 years ago
Utterly compelling, with an underlying propulsive drive of a Dodge Viper melded with the nimbleness and nervous alacrity of a Lotus Elise. Ephemeral and seductive, this should only be bottled in magnums or larger, more reasonable formats. Kudos to Venokado in Santa Monica for recommending this wine so vehemently. — 12 years ago
Ordered at Lotus of Siam, Las Vegas. Delish! — 12 years ago
Amazing! Had this while waiting for our table at the best Thai food spot ever. "Lotus of Siam" in Las Vegas! — 9 years ago
It's not often I'm able to enjoy the pleasure of a very dry, Riesling from Alsace. Which is why we seized the opportunity while dining at Le Lotus on the main island of Tahiti in French Polynesia last month. This scrumptious wine was very dry, high acidity but so very balanced. Not too much citrus and just the right amount of minerality. Paired beautifully with the Batfish appetizer. — 9 years ago
Not for the faint of heart! Halloween vin de Savoie made from magnolia bones, the comb of honeybees, lotus flower, spongey meadow full of wild flowers, spider webs, melted snow, baby's breath, and lemon verbena, heavier mouthfeel evocative of butter, but baked pear, and apple surface. Coconut oil, spearmint, pine pollen, a touch of clover honey, lemon peel, green olive, pastry. And white oak acorns. Hang these bones from the highest tree, and rest in the ancestral rhythms! — 10 years ago
My favorite wine of the day. it showed better today than the '02 Madrona and '09 Dana Estate Lotus — 11 years ago
Amazing texture! — 11 years ago
Starts with sweet honey flavor and quickly turns crisp and effervescent. Very interesting. $10 at Austin Farmers Market. — 11 years ago

This is a super expressive sake one has to try at least once, the enlightened experience is religious, made with Yamadanishiki rice, polished to 35% of the original volume before brewing, aged under 0°C temperature for over two years, very pale yellow in color, beautiful nose of funnel, anise, parsley, strawberry, dry bamboo leaf, lotus seed paste and white pepper, extreme mellow and layered mouthfeel, velvety texture with tastes of fino Sherry, anise, iodine, green bamboo, & peat, long mesmerizing finish! — 8 years ago
