Very nice. Fruity and light. — 8 years ago
The perfect Pinot Noir, we are drinking the 2011 and it's fantastic. 1760.00 pesos which equals 95 dollars at La Casa Del Agua in Playa del Carmen. — 8 years ago
Excellent taste. Very flavorful — 9 years ago
Similar to the Carmel road which we like a lot. Very smooth and fruit forward. — 9 years ago
Loved that I finally got to try some. It was a delicious, neat one finger pour. — 9 years ago
Absolutely love this blend ❤️🍷#birthdaywine — 10 years ago
Fruity and slightly floral with notes of cherry, berry and cassis with hints of lilac and a smooth spicy finish. — 11 years ago
An excellent Zin blend when considering the price point. Not all jammy/fruity; nor is it full blown spicy. A great value. — 11 years ago

Really impressive Syrah. Super soft on the tongue, with nice dark cherry notes. Hints of oak and pepper. — 6 years ago
A treat. Dark in color, slightly cloudy. A powerful nose with dark, very mouton fruit. Incredibly aromatic, blackcurrant, mint, graphite, dried herbs, eucalyptus. The palate is extraordinary. So dense and powerful for a wine of almost 70 years. Dark fruit with a savory undertow- leather, thyme, sour cherry, dark chocolate. Really precise flavors and long. After an hour or two in glass there’s notes of coconut and soft wood. Extraordinary. Clearly there’s a lot of age on this but the sheer quality makes for a really dynamic wine. An exceptional bottle, and a teal treat. — 7 years ago
Current vintage. 2004 sounds old but this tastes so young. So lively, bracing, and uncompromising. Racy, dynamic acidity makes the whole palate a bit inscrutable at first. I cannot overstate how much grip this wine has. Slowly, acid dissipates to reveal some true game and meat overtones. Petroleum, tannin, and tart fruit. Fabulous with Spanish cuisine. Although this was a lot for fun to try now, I'd recommend putting it in a dark part of your cellar for...Let's say 20 years. — 9 years ago
I'm sorry I woke you up but I need to check in on you and your friends. Day 1 is compact and very concentrated. Vinous and dense. Just needs some time to wake up. Already tons of garrigue, tar, talcum, licorice and dense fruit out the ass. Super silky given it's weight. Day 2: still sleepy. Showing some more black fruit compote, black tea, raspy herbs, bitter cocoa, cedar. Day 3: this big boy is just waking up. Relaxed a lot though since the last 2 glasses went down very quickly. 30% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah, 10% Counoise, 5% Cinsault etc — 9 years ago
Incredibly tasty. Big but remarkably light on its feet. Viognier really lifts it up. Pretty insane for the dollas. — 9 years ago
Smells of cherry oak and some light tobacco. Very full bodied with some port notes actually and smooth finish. Somewhat acidic and would do well with food. — 11 years ago
Great table wine! — 13 years ago
So subtle - dried orange peel, potpourri and creamed corn - a delight, thank Hugh — 7 years ago
Very rich with flavor. More flavor then the regular red ménage a trois. Both are great! — 8 years ago
Cherry and spice at the end. California. — 9 years ago
Still a lot of life left despite the vintage. After decanting for an hour it is hard to find any flaw with it. — 9 years ago
Very nice with my BT Steak. — 9 years ago
I was skeptical at first...inky black and 15.3 ABV, but the wine is well balanced with plenty of freshness and lift. Just the ticket with tonight's daube de boeuf. — 10 years ago
Very good everyday table wine — 10 years ago
Wife loves a big oaky chard and this fits this. Great value for every day. I mean every day lol — 11 years ago

For a 20 year old St Estephe this Cos d’Estournel is sublime. Perfectly aged but shows a lot of youth throughout the hour opening with red fruit mixed in with leather and chalk. A good 35 sec finish. A classic Bordeaux that rocks! Kept from my Phd days ( Rodolphe this is the last one buddy) is surprisingly vibrant. happy birthday 🥳 Philippa. — 6 years ago
