With a little filet and some cheesy potatoes with ALL kinds of dairy in them. A delightful dinner pairing choice, but also good alone. — 11 years ago
This a fantastic bottle from a local vineyard. It has flavored of Chocolate but finishes like a nice light Pinot — 12 years ago
Opening the bottle to breathe the subtle oakiness hits you with some spiciness and a hint of dark fruit. Tasting it made my mouth dance. It is smooth with very little tannins. Mind you, merlots are my last choice, however this one sat around long enough to be very good. — 8 years ago

Pleasant, delicate surprise from the Herman Story family. Your next Paso find! — 9 years ago
Still good after all these years - perhaps lost a little over time as it moved through a few cellars, but still an outstanding wine. Cedar, tar, a little licorice, berry fruit, earth - all discernible through nose and finish. — 9 years ago
Very drinkable Pinot for every day — 10 years ago

The 2015, the other half of the night's comparison. Less subtle, more floral. Jasmine, rose petal, honey. All powerful, but all a bit separate and distinct. I think this could lie down for a good while. Will be pleased to try another bottle in a few years. — 8 years ago
