Rye tripel, barrel aged in Chambourcin barrels. High toned and grapey flavors with good length and an almost tannic nature. Interesting. — 9 years ago

The peaches are so intense on the nose and palate. Great, great stuff! — 9 years ago
Slightly bitter Bret intermingled with slightly tropical hop flavors. Not too big or overpowering, either. A nice balance is achieved in this medium-bodied brew. Well done. — 10 years ago

Not as bitter as some but not bad. — 9 years ago
Cloudy as pulp-filled orange juice, but Amber and a cappuccino-foam pompadour of hoary heavenliness. Smells like lemon-artichoke, the weight room, day-old beer, octopus breath, and Camembert. Sour apricot, bing cherry, lemon curd, clotted cream, grapefruit, citrus sourdough, sage, calcium and Chardonnay grapes. Unfiltered goodness that builds strong teeth and bones! — 10 years ago

Fabtastic balance of Brett and classic saison flavors — 9 years ago
Unbelievably good stuff from one of the best and pretty much unknown breweries in the country. #beer #santeadarius — 9 years ago

Almost nutty. darker flavor, as name implies. The particular sour aftertaste makes this beer -- one of my favorites, actually -- maybe because it's so smooth, maybe because of the label, or perhaps because I had this originally on torch lake on the 4th of july. Would also make a superb fall beer. Thanks Charlie! — 9 years ago
