Rich, thick, smooth, just yummy!!! A smoky essence that was surprising. Had it with grilled chicken and tomatillo salsa. Divine. would be awesome with a steak or lamb. 8/10/18 — 7 years ago
Well balanced, hint of Smokey and spices. Any BBQ dish would match perfectly! — 8 years ago
Full flavor. Not too jammy. — 9 years ago
Disappeared real fast, intriguing nose, some dusty earth and zippy fruit, maybe even a small firework, light transparent ruby — 9 years ago

An old standard in our household. Velvety smooth, rich juicy berries. Glad we can purchase Freakshow even at Costco in TX and have a solid, boozy Cab at the ready. — 4 years ago

Decent Merlot for its price range! An easy drink. — 7 years ago
Dark fruits, intense colour, great legs. A real bargain. — 8 years ago
Oaky berry campfire. Not a typical cab. Lay down a few years to take off some fruit for some more substance. — 8 years ago

Definitely needs to open up. Was sweet on the first sip. Significant fruit tones at the outset and got dry as it opened. I would give it a good half hour and drink and enjoy. Solid choice. — 9 years ago

Probably not technically as good as it tastes. This is a big, rich, flavorful wine with lots of dark fruit and high in alcohol at 15% which is most noticeable upon opening so let it breathe. I like to just sip it but also enhances food especially roasted red meats and strong cheeses with crusty bread. Wine snobs will undoubtedly be critical but so what! It’s just a good solid inexpensive wine that tastes good. Enjoy! — 10 months ago
