Nice and fruity. Enjoyed with a grilled Cesar salad at home. — 8 years ago
2014 Chenin Blanc. Briny, honeyed, with lots of pure Chenin funk. Rich golden color, full on the palate, rich and satisfying. Would like to see just a touch more acidity. — 9 years ago
2010 in 2016. Lighter then the blend would suggest (cab, zin, Syrah). But very good. Dusty red fruit and good acid, reminds me of a baby red Graves — 9 years ago
This is a pale golden straw sparkling Brut made in Napa by the famous Mumm sparkling house. It is made with the traditional method and features fine bubble effervescence. Aromas of green apple and crisp pear with lightly baked biscuit and a hint of citrus zest. Made from Pinot noir, Pinot meunièr, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay grapes. Mouthfeel crisp and tart, this wine is balanced with fruit and acidity and structured for enjoyment with a diversity of culinary gastronomic experiences. Recommend pairing with smoked salmon and creamed cheese, appetizers, rippled sea salted chips, pan seared sea scallops, prosciutto and antipasti, Cesar salad, Napoli or Romano thin crust pizza. 13.0% alc non-vintage. — 10 years ago
Bought grapes. Floral. Dark color. Fantastic. Really great. Dusty. Lovely black and blue fruits. Freshness. Such a nice contrast to Richoux. — 11 years ago
Can’t wait to try this again with a chicken Cesar salad! — 3 years ago
Intoxicating aroma. Like drinking sunshine on a fabulous summer day. — 8 years ago
Love this wine. Pinot Noir with a dash of Cesar. Bright and deep cherry, licorice, mineral and some nice white pepper hints. Complete and complex nose. Palate is full and charmingly rustic. Full of fruit and finesse with firm tannins and lovely balance. Terrific freshness. Really juicy. Drinking so well now. — 9 years ago
A little harder because it was with food (paired great with the grilled chicken, Cesar salad, and artichoke) and chocolate (another good pairing). Oaky on the nose and palate, but in a good way. Cherry. — 9 years ago
Champagne Bourgeois-Diaz. Nice acidity. A steal. gracias Cesar! — 11 years ago
It is a burgundy blend of Pinot noir and Cesar (10%). Full of personality, balanced and powerful with soft edges, totally delightful with the quiche cream tart! Yum yum. — 11 years ago
Cesar Florido Moscatel Pasas -- Levels and levels of flavor. Intense dried fruits, citrus zest and toasted toffee/ caramel. Hot and silky. Fantastic with the several post-prandial goat cheeses. Definitely finished off my palate, though, could use a smidge acidity. — 12 years ago
A big, fruity wine which loves a good cut of beef. — 8 years ago
Inky and dark purple color. Nose of nice oaky note, tobacco, cherry, plum, spice and anise. Nose is plenty and enjoyable. Taste of oak, Cesar, bright acidity, strong tannins, cherry, but a bit watery to me. Aftertaste is again hit by oak and a bit bittersweet, graphite, meaty, and hotness from alcohol. Hold this one for years to come to see if subtlety can arise. — 9 years ago
Light dry red, 95% Pinot Noir and 5% Cesar, cassis and raspberry aromas with floral and licorice notes. Very interesting and perfect to match a game dish. — 10 years ago
1973 - still good? Fabulous nose! Raspberry jam and currants. Evolves in the glass. Some Cesar and a hint of cinnamon, if I'm not mistaken (which is very possible). — 11 years ago
A great Mendocino Zin! Blackberries, boysenberries, chocolate with a spicy tobacco finish. — 11 years ago
