Wow, having dinner at the Lizard Restaurant, Fernie Alpine Resort hosting a send off for friends moving to Edmonton. We never thought after a day on the slopes that you could find a wine like this at a local restaurant.
With a pale garnet color, and a soft aroma with slight hint of fresh roses this is a Barolo delight. Approachable, compelling wine presenting multiple smooth layers of fresh fruit flavors on the palette. With hints of blackberry, dried plums and cigar box this is a winner. I will track this one down on my next trip to Calgary. — 9 years ago
