@Chris MacLean you would like this wine. Like a Greek version of barbera good acidity and well structured — 8 years ago

Top 2-3 Napa Cabs I've ever had. Magical nose, cassis, cocoa, red flowers. Rich but nicely aged mid-palate, spreading into a wide swathe of candied red and black fruit, soft but powerful. Secondary stuff in spades. Then - an explosion at the back-end of cedary fruit and fig, tobacco, dark chocolate that lasted for >60 seconds. Just a monumental wine, sadly a solo.
This is note #500 for me, grateful to so many Delectable contributors who take the time to educate and expand my wine perspectives (or, in the case of @Bill Bender...other stuff, too!). Thanks to @Anthony Lombardi @Kimberly Anderson @Jörgen Lindström Carlvik @Jeff Savigny@Ron R@Shawn R @Richard Steinberg @Martin G Rivard (who is living the dream), @Greg Gregory among so many others, not to mention @Roman Sukley with magical reach to inaccessible, iconic SQNs (and the will to pop them) and frank open perspectives from legendary winemakers like @Mike Smith and @Cathy Corison, you all make this a neat community of which I try to be a small contributor.
Finally - a renewed plea to @Antonio Galloni to return "trending" to this community, as it was stolen by the bean counters! I'm no social media expert (I do have 2 teenagers!) but I'm pretty sure that "trending" speaks to the integrity and will to contribute of an entire community...take a look! — 9 years ago

Fruity and smooth. Nice for a dinner wine — 10 years ago
The immense wine, red blend with Zinfandel as noted from very dark color produced by thick-skinned grapes as well as Syrah. Medium body with very smooth finish, minor tannins and nice cherry tones. Not cheap but a bargain. Do not recommend living any wine for the next day, few bitter notes appeared and beautiful cherry escaped on second night. — 11 years ago
A testament to a visionary winemaker surrounded by people who want to join him in living the dream. Leather and liquorice on the nose, blackberries in the mouth and a long, velvety vanilla finish. Merci, Jean-Michel Comme. — 11 years ago
This is a very drinkable wine. Well – balanced. One can drink it by itself or with food. — 12 years ago
Went great with zombie bread pudding! — 13 years ago
The 2014 Mouton is midweight but packs a punch. Great intensity of fruit, particularly blackberries, but also great freshness too. Mint, minerality pop up just before a spicy finish through which the vibrancy is maintained with the wine's attractive acidity. This wine is pure class. (It's also worth mentioning that the label is by David Hockney, whose Pool just set a record for the most expensive painting ever sold by a living artist, at a mere $90.2m at Christie's in NYC!) — 7 years ago

Toasty, green apple nose, nice chard — 9 years ago
The Osteiner grape is a German grape variety created from crossing of Riesling and Silvaner. Despite its German roots, Rippon is perhaps the most notable producer of this variety. Nose of lemon, lime, ripe melon and white fresh florals. On the palate, fresh, clean, round and brilliant. Beautiful acidity, lemon, lime, melon, stone fruits, pear, fruit blossoms and citrus peel. Another photo of their amazing view and owner Jo Mills with my wife. Jo is such a great host with amazing passion and energy for making great wine. — 9 years ago
Winemaker Joseph J. Wagner is a 4th generation winemaker from a family with farming and winemaking roots in the Napa Valley since 1906. Deep Ruby (darkest Pinot almost looks like a Cab) with aromas of ripe berries and spice notes. The palate shows rich black fruits, blackberries, plums and black cherries, vanilla spice, cedar and cacao. Rich soft tannins, firm acidity on lingering finish ending with mineral tones. Nice! — 9 years ago
A lighter nose with a palate of cranberry, strawberry and a light zesting of orange. A darker, deeper rosé with a long fruity finish. — 9 years ago
Very dry, mild tannins, hints of caramel/umami in the body, crisp finish. No coarseness — 11 years ago
Boise. Great wine. Delectable didn't save. Don't remember comments. :-( — 11 years ago
Funky, prickly, lovely fruit. Unsulfured, living wine. — 12 years ago
Best cheap cab so far! — 7 years ago
It’s not overly sweet. Perfect balance of sweet with hint of fruity tang. Would surly buy again! #its5oclocksomewhere — 8 years ago
Delicious! — 8 years ago
I still love this Pinot but the 2011 was amazing I drank at least a case. It does not have the same feel seems more heavy with darker fruit notes. — 9 years ago
Like a warm summer evening. Delicious aroma and taste. — 9 years ago
I really like this one. Very different- crisp and sweet without actual sweetness. Very cool. — 9 years ago
This is still the classiest label design in all of Bordeaux. I want to design my future living room with the greens and whites of a Ferrière bottle. And if it's a 95 with a velvet finish sexier than Scarlett Johansson's skin? Well call me Buffalo Bill and decorate my living room. That got creepy there at the end didn't it? — 10 years ago
A real surprise packet. Organic wine with great depth and complexity. Red fruits complexed by spicy pepper characters. This was the 2011 vintage and while still present, the "grapefruit" acidity was melding beautifully with age. I only wish I had more to try in the years to come. #everydaygems #NZwine #Organic #marlborough #pinotnoir — 11 years ago
