This wine tastes fabulous. Good balance. It also helped me make it through Thanksgiving with the in-laws, so bonus points on that front. — 10 years ago

Can't find my Ah-so (cue Bender) so I didn't stand a chance against this cork. The worm ended up drilling a hole straight through the middle, so had to strain through a coffee filter. Worth the trouble as this was a nice surprise. Tapenade nose, tar and still a hint of bacon. Nice showing for the basic County blend at 17+ years. Chose the location due a mountain lion sighting in the 'hood today. — 10 years ago
Beautiful unraveling. Blooms after air. And stoically holds her head high the second day in the bottle with a vision of the future. Jeanne d'Arc style. She wore armor made of iron protecting a heart that roared like a lion deep inside. Minerality that leaves you nostalgic. This will age beautifully. — 10 years ago

You don't see to many Malbec from California, but I must say this one stacks right up with some of the best I've had from Argentina. Kudos to the winemakers for producing something unique from the land of Cabernet and Pino. — 9 years ago
