Brought home a bottle all the way from Florence Italy. A nice gentleman recommended it to me. Said is made locally with real lemons. It did not disappoint. Took me straight back to Italy. Hot, sweet, lemony goodness. Don't drink and drive with this one. It packs a punch — 8 years ago

Another interesting wine tonight! Elderflower, vanilla, spices, limoncello, rainwater.
Not red, but can't hurt. Tighten it up in the 2nd and 3rd Caps. Holtby great as always.

Chez Vincent's in the 19th. Outstanding food and wine. Vincent was his normal self and poured shots of limoncello and grappa for everyone extensively! — 12 years ago
Needs a day or very thorough decanting to show best. Sour cherry, berry stem and a touch of Indian spices on the nose. Sour, almost limoncello like initially on the tongue, followed by stone fruit and a touch of rosemary. The limoncello and rosemary give it a sense of heat, although it's only 13.5abv. This is chorizo and olives' natural tango partner. — 7 years ago
Made prosecco cocktails with this. Delish! — 8 years ago

Honey, Fuji apple, limoncello, citrus, and lemon tart on the nose. Dried apricot showing up with weight. Just the right amount of oxidation. Very tasty. — 10 years ago
Lighter golden hued. Honeydew, melon, damp clay and a tinge of turpentine on the nose. Silly and silky smooth on the palate, with a crescendoing gradient of clementine laced acidity. Mid palate shows straw, kiwi, and a balanced playfulness of citrus and limoncello. Oaked but not oaky nor faux butter flavored. Finish is luscious and long. A great example of how to Chardonnay without playing charades. Served decanted and cool. — 11 years ago

Awe Some
Pineapple, citrus rind, and traces of mint on the nose. Tropical fruit and limoncello top notes; honey and apples, a clean smooth finish. An easy aperitif, and has the easy-going, pre-dinner character many chardonnays try to clobber their way to. — 6 years ago
