Beautiful medium dark rubi robe. Delicate nose of crushed flowers, red berries and spices. Fresh and balanced mouth between the very polished tannins, the rose fanee and the spices. Jeunes vignes de Ruchottes Chambertin déclassées en Gevrey 1er cru... j’avais peur compte tenu de 2011 mais... wow. Il y a de la profondeur dans ce vin... et la magie des soeurs Mugneret ! Un fruit moins pur que dans d’autres cuvées, on est dans les fruits rouges, la fraise et cerise essentiellement mais un peu de bleuet aussi et ce parfum floral qu’on retrouve dans leur vin. Une bouche suave, soyeuse et une tres belle longueur. Chapeau d’avoir réussi ca sur 2011 ! — 7 years ago

Bought at the Domaine in Porticcio. On the nose, almost Pinot-like in its flowers and red fruit. In the mouth, some cherries, rose hips and spice. Some tannins and good acidity. Slight heat on the back end. — 6 years ago
