Heavenly big blood of Jupiter, we thank you for your expressive perfume, richness that is presented with finesse and earth - like nature that has us swaddled in pleasure. No games, just genuine soul. — 9 years ago
Tasted 26/09/2014
Occasional purchase during vacation turns into sudden surprise. Smooth oily wine with jupiter berries, oak and pineapple on the nose, plus smoky peach, hazelnuts and ripe lychee on palate. Long pleasant complex finish. "Peculiar" spicy variety of Cyprus chardonnay with silky structure. Good pairing for grilled seafood and cheeses. Very well done! — 9 years ago

I hate brown ale, and this is deliciously dark — 10 years ago
Never tried Sangiovese before. I really like it! I especially like the history behind it which is that it's a tribute to Juno, wife of Jupiter and Queen of the gods of Ancient Rome, the protector of welfare of women overseeing all aspects of marriage, fertility, and childbirth. #girlpower #wine #yum — 11 years ago
Les Halos de Jupiter Cotes du Rhône 2010 — 12 years ago
Overwhelming aroma of lavender and marjoram with a touch of Jupiter esp on the finish. Love. — 7 years ago
Grand cru. High quality and delicious — 7 years ago
Nose of twilight - dark fruit and leather.
Deep, dried plum, fig , prune. The acid and tannins are both big, bold, and have no issues with shyness. The finish is in your face in a full on fight club. May be a bit smoother in 5 - 10 more.. still quite good now, decanted 4 hours.

From Total Wine: spicy with sweet fruit, a bit tannic. Let it air but not overnight. — 12 years ago
On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Our guest conductor Herbert Blomstedt is leading an all MOZART program tonight (Piano Concerto No. 17 in G) with the incredibly talented Emanuel (Manny!) Ax on piano and then concluding with MOZART (Symphony No. 41, Jupiter).
Nose is a little tight on this right now, but it is incredibly stoney, like a walk through a stone masons lot and a neighbor two properties down recently mowed the lawn.
The palate is opening, good minerality, light acidity, tropical fruit, yet showing restraint like no other CA Sauvignon Blanc I've ever experienced. Interesting stuff, likely will finish this bottle tomorrow (with updated notes) so that we can see what extended air time reveals... — 7 years ago
This was better than the much more expensive 2007 Halos de Jupiter. — 8 years ago
Still fairly Bright -- red 🍒 -- softer tannins for Sangiovese. Truly the blood of Jupiter. — 8 years ago

I love wines blended by Philippe Cambie! He is often nicknamed "the nose of Chateauneuf-du-Pape" for his talent in bringing the best of a vineyard to a blend. This wine is mostly Grenache (80%) with Mourvèdre(20%) to deepen the wine. Gentle extraction and manual "pigeage" during fermentation befor the wine is aged in concrete for one year. It had a dark color with a ruby rim, a nose of black cherries intertwined with garrigue. The palate got darker with leather and spice. A big finish! — 9 years ago
Lots of dried fruit-fig raisin and currant. Fruit forward with nice finish. Not too earthy and minimal spice but very tasty and easy to drink. 2010 85% Grenache 15% Syrah. — 10 years ago
2010 vintage. Spicy! Med tannin, good dark fruit. Needs more time to develop. Classic vintage. $75 — 11 years ago

Nose has this crazy level of richness. Dense honeyed. Not at all what I expected. Almost like an old wine from the northern Rhône. Palate exhibits typical mosel green apple but it is enrobed in amazing richness. Mineral. Acids. Not over the top as the acids go toe to toe. Wow. Finish is heaven. For the top god. Zeus. Odin. Jupiter. Not the god of gutters or anything. Wow. So long. Was prepared to like this. Not to bow down before it. If wine collectors tried This wine it would cost $100 on release. Needs 45 minutes to show. Bought from Fass Selections. — 7 years ago
