Exquisite and delicious!!
Beautifully balanced between fresh, vibrant apple, lemon peel notes and brioche, biscuit, toasted almond, and pastry notes, with some delicate bruised pear characteristics revealing a bit of bottle age.
Mousse is fine-grained, persistent, and well-integrated. So good! — 6 months ago

Very nice Pinot Noir. Delightful. — 6 years ago
Fresh June strawberries, high alc surprisingly well integrated. — 9 years ago
The palate is full of lively verve. Lemon lime high acidity. What seemed at first to be notes of hazelnut actually blew off. In fact I mistook these notes. The wine seems to be rather reduced. Color is light gold/dark lemon. Went well with roast pork. — 9 years ago
Joyous Côtes du Rhône. — 10 years ago
2023/10 with pan-roasted wagyu, etc. in a great place - open on the nose, with woodsy, incense-like tertiary aromas blending with red berries and flowers. On the palate, good acidity and subtle tannin provide structure, with the fruit freshening and fleshing out with air. — 8 months ago
From a lieu dit surrounded by Gevrey. Definitely young but with a couple hour decant quite enjoyable and accessible. Tons of sweet cherry on the nose; aromatically really quite intense. Full on the palate, get more tannin than I was expecting, but very nicely balanced by a lot of acid. Enjoyed it with a roast chicken provencal but could have stood up to red meat too. Nice qpr at ~$30. Note this is not the “cuvee unique”, which apparently a 100% new oak bottling - this is the regular which is 85% old. — 4 years ago
Still quite young tasting especially relative to the 96 corton renardes from gaunoux. Would love to revisit in 5-10 years and see what this grows into. — 5 years ago
This seductively perfumed Beaujolais perfectly captures the charm of the vintage: balance, tension and seamless texture, with noteworthy purity and energy, make the Grand Cras Irresistible now, although a little patience will bring greater depth and complexity. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, Feb 2018) $24 — 6 years ago
1995 vintage out of magnum. Good acidity for the age. Red cherries, strawberries, mushrooms, slight soy sauce. Complex. Delicious. — 6 years ago
