Rich ... Deep dark tarte tatin flavor — 10 years ago
Excellent desert wine, long on the back not overly sweet. Good with tart tatin. — 10 years ago
A great value Bordeaux small production in biodynamy, 55% Merlot, 30% Carbernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc & 5% Malbec - rich, marked tannins starting very slowly to get more soften, a well balanced wine that need time, a perfect pairing for grilled matured entrecôte 😋👍 - or you can enjoy the second wine Les Demoiselles de Falfas while this one get rounder

Tarte Tatin and biscuit all over the place. I loved this Le Mesnil, blanc de blancs. It's just my type. — 11 years ago
Avec la galette des rois mais idéal sur une tatin ! — 11 years ago
Excellent coteaux de l'aubance ! Le Chenin blanc est parfaitement maitrisé ! Pas trop sucré, ira très bien avec du foie gras ! — 10 years ago

Almost as if someone removed all the sugar from a tarte tatin and bottled it. — 10 years ago
Intense nose -sweet ripe yellow apples (Tarte Tatin), fresh lemon juice & zest, yellow pears, toast, brioche, hazelnuts, white chocolate ... Complex bit still fresh and lively. Terrific value. — 11 years ago
Slope Cellars: "A blend of three vintages, but the bulk of it is 1981. 40% abv. A beautiful colour, rich dark, gold. Viscous in the glass. Lovely perfumed aromas. Spicy prunes on the nose. Very elegant, soft, rich fruit. Gorgeous. Soft, brown sugar. Perfectly ready to drink. Tons of structure and zip and a very long finish. Orange peel note on the finish. Perfect. Orange butter on the nose, like as in crepes. Really aromatic! Cinnamon note on the nose. Great paired with Plumb Tart Tatin." — 11 years ago
Surprising finesse for an '05 Languedoc — 10 years ago
So rich I savored every exquisite sip! Deep golden hue. After 18 months in oak it's pure butter smooth, styled more like a Chassagne-Montrachet--opulent! ...& quite different from classic Chablis. From the first pour, the air filled with its luscious bouquet of butter, pineapple & ripe mango...raising the glass one finds pine nuts toasting, pear, and later the buttery-vanilla-apple of a freshly baked tarte tatin coming out of the oven. The palate marries the bouquet--and what a beautiful wedding it is! ;) — 10 years ago
