This is a special cuvee that Leon only made once to celebrate the birth of his son. It’s a Cabernet/Merlot blend and effing brilliant. Sick nose. Herbal/bell pepper with big cassis, some wood, but not obtrusive. Floral and just beguiling nose. But the palate. My goodness. Gorgeous nose. Leather, red currents, wet moss, tobacco, mint, really terrific vivid aromas. Palate is soft yet juicy with whipsmart acidity. Wonderful freshness and length. So juicy.
