some bic lighter and graphite on the nose, tiny bit of burnt orange peel. super-slick viscosity medium-medium-light feel, cranberry-skin quick dissolve to black stalk vegetation and a kind of cherry-pit bitterness that is really pleasant. has that racy edge of a pre-release pinot, the barrel-tasted variety, or a super fresh gamay, and so good with food. great acid to tannin ratio. happiness for half this table! there is one participant at this table for whom the acid veers toward overly tart :P......no judgement. parked one more for comparison in a year or two. — 5 years ago
fresh vintage is drinking deliciously. a bit more weight and depth, but ash and forest berries with typical Burgenland mineralogy still predominates. — 7 years ago

Slight touch of brett. Added to the wine as the fruit was still present. Was a great one. — 5 years ago
Beautiful nose, great blend, easy to drink and such a great value!! — 7 years ago
Lean & mineral, with quite high acidity, the typical iron streak and black fruit coming last. Herby and with a meaty, wet fur tone, too. Not bad. — 7 years ago

Meinklang makes delicious skin contact wines. This Graupert is based on Pinot Gris. Apple and orange aroma with a funky note. Taste of ripe apples and tea. Dry and the slightly bitter finish is on the shorter side. Cellar temperature is cold enough for this orange wine. — 5 years ago

Lovely Pinot. Love the glass cork. Nice fruit of the Pinot but just nice balance and structure. Gentle but strong — 10 years ago
