2009 vintage. The coolest wine I had while working a harvest in Marlborough. A very passionate Gris, from a very passionate family, with depth and nuance from age, and surprising revelations as it opens up. Jaw-dropper for sure. — 10 years ago

The rating is for the wine and its character, rather than how much I enjoyed drinking it - a glass is enough. Aromas and flavours of treacle pudding, blueberry cheesecake, raspberry conserve and fruitcake. But at its core is remarkable freshness, like blueberries/raspberries bursting on the palate. All the concentration of vines planted in the first decade of the 1900s, length is impressive and the high alcohol well balanced. — 9 years ago

Went and picked up my Bedrock shipment yesterday and I was floored by all the wines. This was only one of the wines but the quality in all of them were amazing! Gibson ranch grenache was exquisite and floral, hudson Syrah was powerful and meaty, griffins lair was a perfect example if Cali meets cote rotie. I can preach enough about this winery, Morgans wines take up the largest part of my cellar! — 11 years ago
