'Ma Belle-Fille' Chardonnay 2007

Absolutely Devine Chardonnay. Velvety butter and great acidity balance. Incredible legs. The smell is really hard for@me@to pin down - new spring maple leaf and summer ocean air randomly come to mind - don't even ask. I don't know why. Just good memories... @David Langstaff @Lee Langstaff @Meredith Langstaff — 10 years ago

Rosa Lee Sonoma Coast Arneis 2014

Just released at the winery - just 393 cases produced. We're loving this crisp white with bright acidity and lots of fruit characteristics including orange blossom, pear, apricot and slight floral nuances. Delicious patio-sipping, BBQ wine. — 10 years ago

Bedrock Wine Co.

Ode to Lulu California Old Vine Rosé Blend 2014

I have greatly enjoyed the wines I've tried from Bedrock Wine Co., a Sonoma winery with humble roots. Founded in 2007 by Morgan Twain-Peterson, who used a 550 square-foot, former chicken coop as his base of operations, his Ode To Lulu Rosé is a nod to Lulu Peyraud, proprietor of Domaine Tempier. Crafted from ancient vines planted between 1888 and 1922, it strikes a fine balance between delicacy and depth of flavor, with tart cherries and watermelon underpinned by mouthwatering acidity and saline notes. — 10 years ago

The former chicken coop is still the prime wine pickup party base of operations....one block from my house in Sonoma!

Brett, a chicken coop is rarely elevated to such lofty standards.

Rio Tinto Silvaspoons Vineyard Red Blend 2011

Candied fruit, reminiscent of gamay. Generous fruit, fantastic finesse. Great find from the Lodi AVA, showcasing the best of two varieties. — 11 years ago
