Let us now praise 1994: a stellar year for indie movies, indie music, and.... Vina Tondonia. — 10 years ago
Medium-bodied, some acidity, not too tannic, M says vanilla notes. Doesn't taste too rustic or cheap, but also doesn't taste "big". Quite good. (Reminiscent of a chateauneuf de pape?) — 10 years ago
Nicely balanced and complex — 10 years ago
Kind of like an indie band you discovered but is getting major label buzz. Still true to their roots. Fantastic. Actually better that I remember.

Tasted this at the big indie wine festival. Need to get myself a bottle. So tasty 🙂 — 8 years ago
Melon, pear, lemon pith, a little creaminess and finishes with a little bitter chalkiness. Much more expressive on day 2. Good drinking. — 9 years ago
Under-fruited light red. — 9 years ago
Can't believe this wine stole the show. Massimo Gregorio makes some amazing and affordable wines. Light with balanced acid, aromas begin this strawberry and sweet cranberry. Let this guy open up to darker licorice. Would go great with grilled octopus or squid, hence the label. So delicious. — 10 years ago
This rich indie Sicilian sip easily overshadowed the NY slice that accompanied it. — 11 years ago
Goes great with booking shabby indie rock in a tinybroom yourself at 9pm — 9 years ago
This is my second time having Bevan's Drystack SB (though I often have the Addax SB, which is also unfiltered and made by Bevan). The nose on this is very typical SB to me...tropical peach, nectarine, floral. Maybe a bit of popcorn kernel (not buttery). But the palate on this is just always so freaking unique! I love the heavier texture of these unfiltered wines. The front of this is tropical, but it doesn't finish with a tropical or citrus crispness. It's more like a granite/stone finish. More "savory" than "sweet". Funky...but I always enjoy it, as does my wife! Not sure how Indie (left) and Abbie (right) feel though... — 9 years ago

On the light side and fairly aromatic with red and black fruits. Fruity, juicy and fresh. You could even chill it a little on a hot day. — 9 years ago
Jubilant, fun, expressive portuguese red. Like your favorite indie rock bands first release....raw & carefree. — 10 years ago
12 August 2015. indie food and wine, New York, NY. — 10 years ago
Fruity, jammy first sip that dissipates into woody and earthy. Not round in the mouth, unbalanced. Not my fave of the region but a great start for a young indie winery. I look forward to trying more. — 11 years ago

Easy drinking bordeaux, st emilion produces great reds with a lovely minerality and this one will trend towards the less mineral side. Drank on its own with an indie folk record (Houndmouth) — 8 years ago
