Blackberry and baking-spice nose that focuses amazingly on the palate into a warm pepperiness with plenty of fruit to back it up. — 10 years ago
It's a big savoury beast! Awesome tannin, great structure with bright fruit. Has that Bannockburn stink. Will mellow well with some age under it's belt. Deeeelicious — 10 years ago
Wonderful spicy, fruit and Garrigue that can only be found in the Languedoc. $16 in BC — 11 years ago

Wonderfully funky, damp, like walking through wet, mossy woods on a gray fall day. Second day drinking reminded me of a damp, unfinished cellar. On closeout at Portalis... wonder if I could get another couple bottles? — 9 years ago

Light, lovely communicative Pinot-- Vocal and fruit forwarded with candor and conviction... Not a surprise with this winemaker and vineyard master.. This Pinot announces itself and charms at the same time.. One of those Pinots that possesses the senses. Illusionary, beautifully bizarre, animated and theatrical. — 9 years ago
Drank this entirely too young. Big restrained fruit with a nice tannin/acid balance, not hot or messy at all. Check in again in 5 years, would not be surprised to see this go a total of 15-20 years. — 10 years ago
Patience pays off sometimes!! A nice brightness to this lovely Pinot. Full bodied but soft. — 10 years ago

Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache, cinsault blend. Tasty but probably needs a couple more years to mellow into something special. — 9 years ago
