Unmistakable Walla Walla nose. Deep leather, dark blue earthy cellared berry aroma. Dark fruits, the slightest hint of vanilla, extremely well balanced. Pegau wines are among my favourites in the whole world. The cuvée Lawrence was flabby and phenolic when first opened. After 3-4 hours it was a different wine. Velvety, rich and foul of umami with this incredible port like sweetness. The only Pegau I have had better than this is the famous 03 cuvée reserve, which is one of the finest wines ever made in humanity. So tiisnie. After well 😊 — 10 years ago

Needing an aperitif to accompany a charcuterie plate, I popped the cork on the pale straw-colored NV M Lawrence Demi-Sec Sparkling Blend 'Detroit' from L Mawby.
