I am quite happy with this wine. Still a baby, but shows a lot of potential. It is a sleeper. Deep dark fruit. Leather, graphite, barnyard... — 5 years ago

Chemical/medicinal nose. Smells like Faslodex (don’t google this). Slight pasture note. Winter foliage. Ruby fruit. Tart. Cherry Jolly Rancher. — 6 years ago

Hints of dark cherry, some peat, elderflower and citrus. Opened a few hours early and got the full effect. Went great with corn bread and steak. — 5 years ago

Licorice. Dry. Not as heavy as I might expect from a merlot, but the 25% cab franc mellows it well. I like it. — 3 years ago
Was amazing the first day we opened it. Unfortunately waited a couple days before finishing. — 5 years ago
Light and delish. Perfect with deer. — 5 years ago

This was definitely the most expensive bottle I’ve bought at least in a while, and certainly for myself. Someone had bought most of the available stock, and I can see why. While unprepossessing flavorwise for the most part, it is noteworthy for being dark and strong without being too bright or heavy. It’s very nicely balanced, its fruit note an almost apple-like aged cherry that might come from the Old Fashioneds of any bartender in any hipster neighborhood.l worth its salt. — 7 years ago
Balanced fruit and tannin with rich soft slice. With food, deep red cherry finish. — 7 years ago
