A complex hot mess that goes way beyond the aromatic profile any 3 year old white should be capable of delivering. Stunning and bizarre. Looking for a Sancerre? Run screaming. — 6 years ago
By far the most interesting Sauv Blanc I've ever tasted citrus, pepper and mineral notes — 7 years ago

Sour red cherry, watermelon and great, bright acidity. Slight sweetness (barely there) carries it all. This calls for grilled veggies, tri tip and adirondack chairs! — 10 years ago

Initial green notes with olive and banana peppers. But some smooth tannins. Red fruits on the palette but still franc-ish green style — 6 years ago
A marvelous showing for the Vergy 2008. Light on its feet yet gorgeously complex, right in between first and secondary aromatics. — 6 years ago
The sommelier described this selection as fruit forward, but I respectfully disagree. I experienced more minerals than anything else, which seems consistent with the fact that this delicate tasting wine is grown directly in the limestone bedrock, with very little soil. Hints of pepper rounded out the flavors. Excellent! Paired well with langoustines and lamb. — 6 years ago
