After 39 years, this wine still has held up well. Typical Rioja Tempranillo grapes with tobacco, leather and black fruit to the nose. Oaky. Almost no tannins and still balanced.

Rioja at it’s best. Nice structured Tempranillo. Medium-full bodied. Intense and grave varietal comes through. Good wine to enjoy with food as well as siping. — 5 years ago
