At Pompette. Not too sweet, good bubbles. Fantastic. NV — 8 years ago
This is one of the best Italian wines I've had. Absolutely beautiful, balanced, nose is powerful and pallet matches. Bing cherry tart pie with a long finish and a little smoke on the nose — 9 years ago
Great pair with spicy squid ink pasta — 9 years ago
Quite possibly the most reduced wine I've opened all year. Like curling up in a tire factory. But. After an hour, a beautiful, light, red fruited and amazingly aromatic wine emerged, grounded by hot rocks and Sicilian spirit. Nice value and killer pizza wine. — 9 years ago
Fantastic blend of 50% frappatto and 50% Nero d'avola. — 9 years ago

Pale to mid crimson in colour. Fragrant Fresh and Frivolous with lovely Florals! Serve chilled. From a cool ferment. Light bodied- basically like cherry juice. Drink now. Also, like all Donnafugata Wines it has a beautiful label. 100% Frappato. 12.5% Alcohol. — 8 years ago
Great nose. Fruity and bold with a long finish and well balanced acid. Great find! — 8 years ago
A nice wine - 60/40 Nero/Frappato, but prefer the more elegantly aged ParaPara. Still better than Cos IMO. — 9 years ago

The 2009 Maria Vittoria Chianti Classico spends one more year in the barrels than the Lorenzo. The flavors linger on your tongue with this very smooth wine. This is a wine that will stain your teeth. Throughout it there are hints of cloves, vanilla and blackberries in every sip of this wine.
